Artwork Design
I collaborated with Erica Dorn to create the artwork for the slipcase of the Criterion Collection’s release of Isle of Dogs. We were provided with an illustration by Katsuhiro Otomo, and a still from the film which we digitally manipulated to create the final artwork.
It had to depict the classroom, so we decided to place some of the hero maps in the back of the slipcase. To create balance, we kept the front light while allowing the back to fall into shadow.
